Robert J. Weatherbee, 76

Robert J. Weatherbee of Duxbury, MA passed away on April 4th from an ongoing battle with pulmonary fibrois.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Karen Weatherbee in Duxbury, MA, a son Matthew Weatherbee and his husband Allan in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, a daughter Melissa Maxwell and her husband John in Marshfield, MA, a sister Helen Platt in Halifax, MA, a granddaughter Victoria Ellis in Duxbury, MA, a grandson Keil Ellis in Pembroke, MA, a niece Nicole Bagozzi and her husband Ben in Mesa, AZ, a nephew Scott Kendrick and his wife Melissa in Pembroke, MA, a niece Lauren Platt in Charleston, SC and his dog Nikki also in Duxbury, MA.

Bob was born in Boston on September 24, 1940. and graduated from Northeastern University with BS in engineering. In 1970 he married his wife Karen of 46 years and in 1974 they moved to Duxbury.

Bob loved people and socializing and was most happy surrounded by loving family and friends. He would turn almost any activity into an opportunity to make new friends and practice speaking in a variety of languages. Bob also loved to travel and treasured trips to Mexico, Italy, Spain and England with his wife and son.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 9th from 3-6 pm.
