Obituary for Rosemary Galgay Lowrie (Galgay)

Lowrie, Rosemary, 88, of Dennisport. Rosemary entered into eternal life on April 22, 2017 after a lengthy illness. She grew up in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of the late Mary and Bill Galgay.
Rosemary was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Emmanuel College and Framingham State College. After graduating from F.S.C., she taught school in Dedham, MA.
Rosemary loved sports. In her younger days she was an avid tennis player and enjoyed playing golf with the Dennis Niners. She was a member of a book club, pursuing her love of reading. Rosemary, too, was an active member of the Emmanuel College Club of Cape Cod.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Bob. She is survived by her sons, David, Bill and his wife, Holly, Stephen and his wife, Ericka and Jim and his wife, Liz. She also leaves behind her grandsons Mackay, Sean, Zephaniah and Gannon.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main Street, W. Harwich on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 9:45 am. A reception immediately following will be held at the parish hall. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 1:45 pm.
