Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Denaro can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Robert G Denaro

Robert G. Denaro passed away August 31, 2017 at his home in Mashpee after a long illness. He leaves his devoted and loving wife Leona (Astone) Denaro, formerly of Newton, MA.
 He attended Belmont Schools and was Band President in his Jr. and Sr. years. He was selected to play for the prestigious New England All State Youth Symphony for 2 years and performed at Symphony Hall.
After proudly serving in the United States Air Force, while stationed in Cape Canaveral, FL he then attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and was the first Veteran to receive the G. I. Bill and earned a Diploma in Music Composition and Arranging.
After Graduation, continuing his passion for music, he opened Robert's Music Center in Lexington, MA teaching trumpet and other musical instruments. From there he opened Wal-Lex Music in Waltham, MA.
 He performed at many venues in and around the Boston area bringing pleasure to many.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his 4 loving children, Linda and her husband Rick Centore, Cynthia and her husband John Chaplic, Robert and his wife Beth Denaro and Barbara and her husband Kevin Duffey.   He also leaves his 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  
 He will lovingly be remembered at a Funeral Mass on Saturday,
September 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at
The Parish of Christ The King
5 Jobs Fishing Road
Mashpee, MA

All Family and Friends are welcome to gather after Mass at their family home at 10 Butler Lane, Mashpee, MA.

Burial Services will be private at
The Bourne National Cemetery at a later date.
