Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Phyllys Billadeau can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Phyllys Una Billadeau (Yeaton)

Billadeau, Phyllys, 94, of Brockton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 19, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Helen (Cobb) and Pearly Yeaton.
She attended Brockton schools, graduating from Brockton High School in 1942. She went to work for the telephone company after she graduated from high school. She married William Norman Billadeau in 1943 and was happily married until 1975, when he passed away. After she married (Wild Bill Billadeau), she went to work for Raytheon, where she worked for 34 years, retiring from there. She was the first woman foreman in Raytheon data systems.
Phyllys loved traveling, some of her favorite places were Venezuela, Hawaii, Scotland, all of the Carribean Islands, Croatia, Russia and she especially loved seeing the Great Wall of China. She also loved knitting, the arts; theater, music, etc. Her biggest love was animals.
Phyllys leaves behind her children Sharron Ann Coen (John) of Plymouth, Wayne (Jennifer) Billadeau of East Dennis and Billy Billadeau of Florida. In additon, she leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
