Christopher T  Coughlan
Christopher T. Coughlan of Duxbury, MA, passed away on November 4th, 2017. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Christopher and Florence Coughlan. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Nancy Salk-Coughlan, and his son, Taylor Coughlan and his fiancé Katie Forster. Chris will also be remembered by his sisters, Florence Wurzel, Patricia Coughlan, Dorothy Quirk, Kathleen Papetti, and his brother Mark Coughlan. Chris is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A dedicated and caring husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Chris was defined by his honesty, integrity, and good humor. In addition to an insatiable curiosity about life and a love for knowledge and good conversation, Chris was an avid golfer and long-time member of Plymouth Country Club. Beyond the tee-box, Chris could be found running or walking with his wife Nancy around Powder Point in Duxbury. Outside of his native South Shore, Chris loved to explore the backroads of New England, especially Maine, with his family, always on the look-out for a quite cove.

A celebration of Chris’ life will be held at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA 02360 on Tuesday, November 7th, from 9:30-11:00. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 – 10:30, followed by a celebration of life from 10:30-11:00. Chris was a U.S. Army Veteran and services will conclude with Military Honors and burial at Duxbury Mayflower Cemetery.
