Obituary for Richard Alfred Macomber

Richard “ Dick" A. Macomber Sr., of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. At the Good Samaritan Hospital, Brockton. He was 66. Born in Brockton September 17, 1951 to Russell J. Macomber Sr., and Grace A. (Horton) Macomber. He was a graduate of Brockton High School's Class of 1970. He worked in manufacturing and warehousing for decades and later as a counter sales person for Dunkin Donuts before retiring. In his leisure time Richard loved sports and was an avid bowler for years. Richard is survived by his two Brothers, John F. Pooler of Asheville, NC and Russell J. Macomber Jr. of Carver, MA. His 3 Children, Richard A. Macomber Jr. of Savannah, GA., Dawn DePersis of Taunton, MA., and Heather Poe of Guyton, GA. As well as his 4 Grandchildren, Mattieu Macomber, Damien DePersis, and Laela and Jeffrey Poe. A private family service is scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home.
