Obituary for Thomas Joseph Lombardo

Thomas Joseph Lombardo
At 12:30 AM Tuesday morning, February 6, 2018 time stood still. Angels were singing. Heaven was rejoicing. A son was coming home!
My husband left what he loved so much here on earth to enter into the glory awaiting him in Heaven. I wish I could have seen his face when he looked into the face of Jesus…the hope we have, the promises we have been given, the Truth.
Thomas J. Lombardo was born in Dorchester, MA on June 18, 1950 to Beatrice (LaRoche) and Mike Lombardo. He was the loving and loyal husband to his wife of 40 years, Sandy, and proud father of his children, Tommi and Tony. He leaves an unfillable void for his 8 grandchildren; Silas, Sam, Caramia Joy, Judah, Micah, Beau, Lucia Bea, and Sonny. He also leaves his sister, Doria, his brother Mike, many Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and so many others who loved him.
Tom was in the well-known band, The Techniques, for 40 years with lifelong friends Charlie and Joe, playing for adoring fans throughout New England. Two years ago, Tom gathered new friends and formed the acapella group, Glory Road, with the intent to worship and glorify God to whoever has ears to hear and hearts to hope! He also owned and operated Scrub-It Carwash & Detailing in Carver, MA.
Tom LOVED everyone. He loved waterskiing (so many of you have come out with us). He loved games. (so many of you have played games with Tom…Monopoly, cards, Mafia, and endless riddles). Oh, did I forget to mention itchy gitchy goo? (Are you in our photo album as a recipient?) Tom sang from his heart, shared the love of God with everyone, laughed and loved life, his family, his friends, and mostly his God. What a huge void there is going to be. If you didn’t know him, you missed out on so much fun and love.
Receive your reward, my honey.
Please join us Friday, February 16, 2018, 10:00 at Memorial Hall in Plymouth, MA. as we remember Tom in a celebration service as unique as he was.
