Condolences

Condolence From: John Matukas
Condolence: The past few days I have had a particular song that I have been trying to remember Tommy had given me so many years ago. So i decided to see if I could find it and this is what I saw instead. I knew Tommy years ago and for sure one of those people that came into my life for a short time, but made a difference. Great smile, great attitude. He could move on the court and I thought for sure I could beat him in racquetball. Never happened, he was fast! I am so sorry to hear about this news in 2020. Sandy and family, I hope my fond memories help you heal. To this day still, I say Rats when I try and refrain my language. Rest in Peace Tommy.

Condolence: Thinking of you now and always, Big Guy. It was a pleasure and a privilege to make music with you. I'll forever be inspired by your kindness, Tommy. You were the ultimate gentle giant. Go easy on the buffet up there, will ya? Hugs from Bill.

Condolence: Sandy It's Bill Julian. My heart is broken and also relieved. Tom is with Jesus and the saints. But I liked Tom very much and really good guy. Funny, loving, engaging and loved the Lord. Receive my heart felt condolences and my encouragement his journey here is ended but life now really begins in eternity . I have nothing but good to remember as I think of Tom and pleasant helpful mild manner man and much more. I can imagine how you feel I have been through this twice and it is bitter/sweet. God be with you. Please keep in touch. Bill

Condolence From: Tommi (Lombardo) Kirkpatrick
Condolence: Dad, I miss you more than I thought possible. I have so many memories flooding through my head, and each one has a song attached. Today was Silas’ 9th birthday-your first grandson. We sat outside and he said he misses you and that you had talked to him about finding peace in your life. He thought you were talking about a puzzle piece and he said you were his missing puzzle piece on earth. I feel the same. He said he always felt like nothing would ever go wrong if you were with him. I hear you in the birds, just like you told me I would when I was a little girl working with you in the yard. Ironically, I was given a bird feeder today as a kind gesture. Sammy had a dream last night that you came back and we celebrated with a sleepover and donuts. I miss calling you in the morning as I drive the little ones to preschool. You brought light and laughter to so many areas of my life. I’m so grateful.

Condolence: My honey, You were the best husband, father, and friend. You gave me a life filled with so much laughter and love. It is going to be so quiet and dull without your loud and happy presence. You were the best papa, too. How you loved our grandchildren. You loved everyone and cared very much about if they knew Jesus! You wanted everyone to know the joy we shared in knowing our Lord. You are home now. Well done. Miss you terribly...till I see you again. xoxoxoxoxoxox

He got myself and (teammate) Mike Pantano out on the lake water skiing with our wives. That was one of the best days last summer. Thank you Tom and Sandy. We will all miss Tom. God Bless.

Condolence From: Tony Lombardo
Condolence: My dad was a legend. He loved everyone. He was quick to offer a hand, or talk someone out of a hard situation. Im going to miss him dearly. Im mad that now Im going to realize how pathetic I am at fixing things. I always relied on him to fix things. Dad, I give you full permission to laugh at me from up there as I tinker with broken things at the wash wondering how to fix them. You were the best. MY FATHER DIDNT TELL ME HOW TO LIVE, HE LIVED AN AMAZING LIFE AND LET ME WATCH HIM. I CAN ONLY TRY TO CARRY THAT TORCH. Go get em dad. I hope your hanging with Jesus, singing at the top of your lungs, while playing volleyball, while getting a new friend at itchy gitchy goo, while playing a card game, while smiling at the legacy you left. Love you dad.

Condolence: I'm so sorry for your loss, Sandy. I lost my love, Rob (who also knew Tommy), last year on Feb. 12. Like Tommy he also had a band (SRO) and a beautiful voice. I met Tommy and the Techniques over 35 years ago and heard him play at the Irish Rover in Dot many times. His sister and I went to the same H.S. May Tommy rest in peace and may you find comfort in your memories. Both Tommy and Rob are playing and singing with the "big boys" now. God bless . . .
