Obituary for Michael Souza
Souza, Michael, 39, of Plymouth, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2018 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. He was the son of the late Joseph G. and Shirley (Moore) Souza. He was born in Plymouth on December 24, 1978.
Michael loved fishing, poker tournaments at Foxwoods, and from a very young age, being at the garage with his dad. He was happiest when spending time with friends and family and would always lend a hand to help someone in need.
In addition to his mom, Michael leaves behind his son, Lucas. He also leaves behind his sisters; Lisa (Robidoux) (and husband, David) Bloom, Sherri (Robidoux) (and husband, Mark) Chandler, Renee (Robidoux) (and husband, Donald) Stoddard as well as his brother Joseph G. Souza, Jr. (and wife, Kristin Lee). He leaves many cherished nieces and nephews behind as well. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph G. Souza, his grandparents, Harold and Eleanor Moore, Carmen and Joseph Souza and his beloved nephew, Brett Bloom.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 28th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
