Charles Richard Thomas , 87, of Yarmouth , passed away on August 8, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving wife Rose and his family. "Dick" was born in Akron , Ohio . He joined the Army where he was a medic at the Watertown Arsenal. While serving his country, he met his wife of 68 years, Rose Jean Capasso. Dick worked in real estate and sales. Dick and Rose had four children and a beautiful marriage. Daughter , Donna Thomas Gove, grand-daughters Kim and Kristen, and grandson David
Daughter , Diane Papagno and her husband Dan, grand-daughters Stacy and Ali, and grandson Daniel.
Son, the late Rick Thomas, his wife Christine, and grandsons Derek and Kevin
Daughter Eleanor Lyons, her husband Peter, and grandsons Adam and Andrew
Dick loved hunting and sports; but more importantly he loved his family. He loved his great-grandchildren: Matty 11, Eva and Emma 8, Isabella 5, Nicholas 4, Karlee Rose 3, Cullen 3, and Avery 1.
He was a good man who led us all by his example and we will all miss him dearly.
A private family service will be held at the Bourne Veterans Cemetery in the near future .
Any donations in his name can go to Hope Hospice of Cape Cod.
