Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Maria Ferreira can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on the evening of October 21st.   She was born in St. Miguel Portugal. She was married in November 26,1955. She came to America in 1969 with her husband and four children and resided in Plymouth MA; where she worked as a Seamstress at Ellis Curtain Factory for many years before retiring.   She enjoyed, family, cooking, baking, knitting beautiful afghans and gardening when she could.
She was preceded by her late husband Everett Ferreira in December of 1979.   Maria is survived by, her four children, Maria Silva and her husband Antonio of Plymouth MA.  Antonio Ferreira and his wife Jeannie of Acton ME .  Evaristo Ferreira and his wife Gina; grandchildren Alexander and Brooke of Plymouth MA. Son, John Ferreira of Plymouth MA.  Granddaughter,  Debbie Curry and her husband Richard; great grandchildren Matthew and Sarah. Jessica Kennedy and husband Robert of Plymouth MA; great granddaughters Peyton and Ava.  Grandsons, Damien Ferreira and great grandchildren Isabella, Anthony and Olivia.  Antonio Ferreira II and his wife Taylor,   Granddaughters, Gloria Piller and her husband Greg; great granddaughter Rosalina. Tonya Murphy and her husband Jonathan; newest great grandson Enzo. Grandson, Cain Ferreira. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.   She was preceded by her siblings, most recently her sister Maria Rego. 
Visitation will be at Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth MA 9am-10:30am, with funeral service following at St. Mary's Church on Wednesday October 25th.
