Condolence: I am so sad to hear of the loss of Dan. What a wonderful smile he had, a talented and kind person; unique in the way he could inspire you to smile and feel good about whatever you were doing or wherever you were in life, even if was laundry day in the dark old Summer St basement. I fondly remember our time as neighbors there.
My deepest condolences to his loved ones.

Condolence: Dan, Dan, the Guitar Man. When I think of you I see the smiling face of a dear friend.

Our family had the pleasure of growing up just a few doors down from the Marani's. They are a big and lively group. Very loyal. Very smart. Just like Dan. All of the countless memories will keep Dan alive in my heart.

My deepest condolences to the entire Marani family. Dan was special and my heart is heavy missing him.

Prayers of peace to all of you.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear about Dan's passing. Whenever I ran into him he would always great me with a big smile and give me a huge hug! To me he was always like a little brother (despite towering over me just as my own brother's do). May he rest in sweet peace

Condolence: Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Marani family for your profound loss.
Memories of Dan go back to his teary ride on the kindergarten bus, followed by many years of fun with neighborhood children in the woods and cranberry bogs surrounding Canterbury Drive. He was always there to greet us as we pulled in our driveway, ready to engage in imaginative adventures with Jeremy and friends--sans computers or cellphones. It was always a pleasure to meet Dan years later, experience his affirming smile, and hear about his music and work endeavors--and of course to reminisce. He has touched us all----Sending love, and hope for healing and peace. 💝
