The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Anthony Rizzitano can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Mr. Rizzitano gave me more of a respect for live than almost anything ever has. I truly wish I could have known him as an adult. I would have been right there on the trail with him, taking in the sights, fighting through the wind, rain, snow, and sleet. It was his dedication to our understanding of the deepest meaning of humanity that permanently ingrained him in all of his students minds. His tests were the toughest, but his persistence made you want to give your everything to achieve your best. --- I bought a copy of Moby Dick because of him and his passionate description of the Lee Shore during that class forever changed the path my life took. I hope to have even a fraction of the impact he had on future generations. --- To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; This is to have succeeded. --- Thank you for succeeding.
