Obituary for James F Cahill

James Francis Cahill II, 84, of Skaneateles, NY passed away on August 23, 2017 with family at his side.
He was born on November 3, 1932 and raised in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late  Dr. James Francis and Alice Kuntz Cahill. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and Notre Dame University. He served in the U.S. Army. 
Jim was a Stockbroker with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. He lived in Skaneateles for 46 years . His friendships were many and spanned decades back to his grade school days at Charles Andrews and CBA Academy.  
James is survived by his wife, Patricia; his six sons, Kevin, Brian (Rose), James III, Mark, John (Darlene) and Tim (Cara). and  his brother Edward A . of Sarasota, Fla..  He is also survived by eleven grandchildren. and several nieces and nephews. 

For many years Jim endured a battle with dementia, which exemplified just how resilient he was.  A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. November 3, 2017 at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. James will be interned at St. Agnes Cemetery, Syracuse NY.  He will be missed by all.
