Obituary for Kathryn Fleury (Rodericks)
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathryn R. Fleury (Rodericks) announces her passing on Monday, January 29, 2018.
Kathryn was born in Harwich, Mass on September 23, 1933. She was raised in Chatham, Mass by her loving parents John L. and Rose R. Rodericks.
She attended Chatham High School where she was an essential part of the drama and music program. Of her many talents, she had a connection and a deep love for music. Weather singing solo or duet, playing the piano or first violin, one thing was for sure; this innate talent was truly a gift that she shared with many. After graduating from high school, she went on to obtain a business degree from Burdett College.
Through the years, her many hobbies included photography, painting, sewing & knitting just to name a few. She also loved spending time with her family, red roses and the beach. She was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church in Pembroke, MA.
She is predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Rodericks; her son Stephan C. Fleury; her sister Rosemary Rodericks; her brother John H. Rodericks; and her grandson Bryan J. Fleury.
She is remembered with love by her children Donna Fleury of Hanover, MA; Lisa McNamara of Connecticut; Denise Ozoonian & her husband Robert of New Hampshire; John Fleury of Plymouth, MA; Dina Amado & her husband Gilbert of Hanson, MA; Michael Rodericks & his wife Patricia of Harwich, MA; & Kevin Rodericks of Dennis, MA.
She was the loving grandmother of Michael, Christopher, John & Karen Rodericks; Kevin & Craig McNamara; Jake & Cooper Ozoonian; Rachael & Alycia Brain; Alise & Nate Fleury & Samantha Davis. She was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 10, at Assembly of God Church in Pembroke MA.
Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Route 128, Harwich MA.
